Connectors
What Wendy keeps
When the app offers connections, you can connect Microsoft 365, and Gmail for the team (for everyone else, Gmail has a waitlist). When the app offers them, your meeting notes at work can be connected the same way. Wendy reads each message once, in memory, and keeps what she learned. Learned from your communications, no messages are ever kept.

Kept and not kept
| Source | Kept | Not kept |
|---|---|---|
| Who you talk to, the subject line up to 160 characters, the date, one line of what it was about, and whether it is still waiting on someone. | The message itself: the body, any preview or snippet, quoted replies, attachments and their file names. | |
| Calendar | The meeting title, who was there and when it was. | The description, the notes, the attachments and anything said in the meeting. |
| Meeting notes | Who was in the meeting, its title and date, one line of what you took on or are waiting on, and whether it is still open. Only meetings you were in are read. | The transcript, the summary and your private notes, and anything about what the other people in the room are like. |
How much Wendy reads
Wendy reads up to 300 items a day, and the first read covers your last 30 days (for meeting notes, up to 60 meetings in them). A message or a meeting note is read once, turned into a one-line note, and dropped.
What is skipped before Wendy looks
Newsletters and digests. Receipts, invoices and order confirmations. One-time codes and password resets. Notifications from other software. Shared and automated mailboxes at your own company. Mail from outside your company unless it was sent to you directly by someone you've written to. Anything addressed to more than twelve people, and meetings with more than twenty-five. Drafts, spam and trash. You can add senders of your own to the skip list under Profile & settings.
Where the notes go
Into what Wendy keeps for you, and nowhere else. A work mailbox feeds Wendy at work and a personal one Wendy at home, and neither reads the other. Nobody else sees any of it; a workspace sees only the working habits its join screen lists, never a message or a subject line.
Seeing, editing and deleting
Everything Wendy keeps is listed on the Memory page, and any one thing can be edited or deleted there. What came from a connector is deleted after 90 days anyway.
Disconnecting
Disconnect any time, in one tap. Wendy stops reading right away and deletes its access; the sheet also links the place to remove Wendy at the other end, so you can do that too. The box on the sheet is ticked: it also deletes the lines from that source and the people Wendy only knows from there.
The AI provider
To write the one-line note, the text of a message, or of a meeting note and its transcript, is sent to our AI provider for one pass and is not stored by us. It is never used to train a model.
Google API Services
Wendy's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
