Wendy for teams

Your people stop guessing how to work with each other.

Every seat is a report and daily coaching. Each person writes a card in their own words; the group shows where the team sits and how any two people fit; nobody sees anyone's answers.

WHO SEES WHAT

What your team sees

Each person's card and "how to work with me," in their own words. How any two people fit, side by side. Where the group sits, with a name on every pin. And, as they use Wendy, how they tend to work.

What you see

The same thing your team sees, plus any pair, and, when your workspace opens, the roster. A "you in this group" read written for you. Never anyone's answers.

What nobody sees

Answers. Anything written in anyone's inbox or calendar: never a message, a subject line or a name from outside the workspace. Anything for a review, a hire or a pay decision. Wendy's terms forbid it, and the product has no screen for it.

WHAT THE GROUP SHOWS

What you see once two people have joined

QuickTempoDeliberate

Tempo, from Quick to Deliberate. The band covers all five.

A group shows the spread and a pin for each person. No average, no list.

Tap a pin to read that person, in their own words.

The five people here are made up, and their cards are the ones in the demo. A real group opens once two people have joined. Every pin carries a name. What you see in a group is what everyone in it sees.

SEE THE GROUP IN A CONVERSATION

Demo · Wendy coaching Nora, founder and CEO of a 40-person cookware company · AI coach, not a human

Decisions drift between the people who talk it out and the people who write it down, and she is the one doing the translating.

Wendy reads only the cards people have shared, never anyone's answers.

Wendy:

Morning, Nora. Three places I can help before your inbox: the people in Tuesday's board meeting, the one-to-one with Marcus you've been putting off, or how the team is running. Where are you stuck today?

Nora:

Team dynamics

Wendy:

The widest spread in your group is Channel. Elena's card says talk it out; Theo's says write it down. The handle decision that drifted, with Theo's cash plan on the wrong option, lived in that gap. Start there?

Nora:

Start there. It happened again with the warped pans. Elena put it in the channel; Rosa wanted to talk first.

Wendy:

That one is Candor, not Channel. Rosa's card asks for care in how hard things are said; Elena's says she'll tell you plainly. You keep translating. A pair page does that, for two people who both say yes. Would they?

StraightCandorGentle
Candor in Nora's group, Straight to Gentle. A group shows the spread and a pin for each person. No average, no list.
Nora:

Maybe. What do I do about the hallway decisions? Theo built the whole cash plan on the wrong handle option.

Wendy:

Your card has the fix: three lines after every decision, even the hallway ones. Elena's says the same; Theo's asks for decisions written down. You all agree on what to try; nobody does it. Who sends them, you or Elena?

Nora:

Me. What does the group give me that you and I can't do here?

Wendy:

Two things I can't do. The group lets everyone see where the team sits on each measure. A pair page gives any two of you one thing each can try, with you out of the middle. Which pair first?

Six turns on us, on a made-up company. Nothing you type there is saved.

On day 14, Team starts at $249 a month for the 10 people it includes, plus $20 a month for each seat beyond that, until you cancel. Each person's report and free account stay theirs whether or not the workspace continues.

THE PATH

The path

  1. 1. Build your own report (about 9 minutes).
  2. 2. Under Profile & settings, open Want Wendy for your own team? and add seats.
  3. 3. Send the invite. Each person builds their own report alone and reads it alone. Joining is what shares their card with the team, and nothing is shared before that. See the invite →

Your report is yours first. You'll read it alone before anyone else sees anything, and nothing is shared until you join.

Starts with your own report, about 9 minutes; seats come after.

The first four weeks

  1. Week one

    Report day.

Each person answers alone, about 9 minutes, and reads their own report before anyone else sees anything. Wendy drafts their card from it; they edit the words, and nothing is shared until they join.

  2. Week two

    The group opens.

Once two people have joined, the group shows where they sit on each measure, with a name on every pin, and every pair page is a tap away.

  3. Week three

    The first check-ins.

Every seat includes the coach. One thing before the inbox at the hour that person picked, and a quick question or three at the end of the day. Every one is skippable.

  4. Week four

    The first pair read.

Any two people in the workspace get one page: where they're alike, where they differ, and one thing each of them can try.

Nothing here is on a timer. This is the order it happens in, not a schedule Wendy holds anyone to.

One card, one Monday

Priya reads Marcus's card

Priya is COO and works like a Planner. Marcus is head of sales and works like a Connector. Both joined the workspace, so each can read the other's card.

What the card tells her to do differently

  1. She takes a beat before answering, and he reads a quiet day as a problem. So she acknowledges inside the hour, even when the real answer is tomorrow.
  2. She likes to tell the whole story first, and he needs the ask in the first line. So the sentence she would have ended on goes at the top, with one line of why under it.
  3. They both put things in writing, so after they talk she sends three lines: decided, owner, by when.

The first line she could say

Got it. Real answer tomorrow, and I'm leaning yes.

Priya, Marcus and the company they work for are made up, and their cards are the ones in the demo. Yours are built the same way, from your own answers.

The invite people receive

I'm setting up a Wendy workspace for our team. It takes about 9 minutes, your answers stay yours, and what the group shows is where we each sit on five measures and how any two of us fit, so we can spend time where the gaps are. Nobody sees anybody's answers, and this has nothing to do with reviews. {link}
